I don’t accept insurance, and here’s why:

Insurance companies often exert significant control over your treatment, which can be intrusive to the deeply personal work we do together. They dictate the length of your sessions and even decide how long they believe you should be in therapy. Furthermore, they have the authority to stop covering your sessions if they determine that you no longer need therapy, even if we feel that our work is unfinished.

Additionally, insurance providers require a diagnosis after just the first 50-minute session, even if you don’t want or need one. The diagnosis they assign can affect your coverage, and once it’s on record, it can follow you, potentially impacting your premiums or eligibility for other types of insurance. The relational and solution-focused work we do together rarely meets “medical necessity,” in my areas of focus.

For these reasons, I have made the decision not to accept insurance. You deserve therapy that is tailored to your needs, free from the influence of a third party. I am deeply committed to respecting both your time and financial investment. Each session is designed to deliver high value and is structured to achieve meaningful outcomes. My ultimate goal is for you to apply the skills we develop together in your daily life, empowering you to live a fulfilling and thriving life outside of my office.

Membership offers three 45 min sessions per month as well as weekly email support. It also includes an invitation to quarterly retreats for building relationships with other women.

Concierge services are ideal for someone experiencing unexpected relationship or situational crisis. This plan includes four 45 minute sessions monthly and unlimited voice messaging support (Voxer). This service is $450, billed month-to-month, private pay only.
